REFLEX CAMERA CLUB

About Us

Reflex Camera Club is based in St. Annes, Bristol in the United Kingdom. We are open to men and women of all ages. Our members use a wide variety of cameras, from DSLR, to the latest mirrorless models. We have specialists in landscapes, models, fashion and pets. All of our members are willing to share time and experience with you.

Our club nights are equally varied. We regularly host external and internal speakers, we have six club competitions a year, and occasionally have battles with other local clubs. We also have a regular series of tutorial evenings, aimed at those with less experience, but also attended by our knowledgeable members who are keen to brush up their skills.

We have also had club trips, notably to the Lake District in recent years, which have been very popular.

 

 

What do we do?

We hold weekly meetings on Thursdays and our new programme starts in September each year. During the summer holidays we take to the road, and take photographs at local sites.

 

Regular meeting topics include:

• Guest speakers showing their work

• Practical photography sessions, sometimes with models/props

• Talks and demonstrations by our members

• Competitions

• Travelling exhibitions

• We also organise trips to places with photographic potential

 

When & where do we meet?

Post Covid-19 pandemic, we meet in a combination of online and at Wicklea Academy (BS4 4HU).  Please see our programme page to see where we are meeting for our next session.
